Description

This course is run by Carymoor Environmental Trust.

Have you ever wondered how to spark a lifelong love of nature in your little one?

Join us for a series of fun, outdoor sessions designed for parents, carers, and their young children (aged 1.5-4 years). These sessions take place in the beautiful surroundings of the Carymoor nature reserve and are perfect for building your confidence in outdoor play while discovering local wildlife.

Each session features a different native wild animal theme, and includes activities like muddy play, nature crafts, wildlife exploration, and more! You'll enjoy quality time with your child while exploring the wonders of the outdoors together.

What this course explores:
- Local wildlife and nature exploration
- Fun, hands-on outdoor activities like natural crafts and imaginative play
- Themed sessions focused on animals such as badgers, squirrels, and owls
- Building confidence in outdoor play with your child
- Recognising tracks, signs, minibeasts, and trees

Every session begins at the Education Centre, followed by a short walk to the woods, where you'll enjoy free-flowing activities designed for exploration at your own pace. We'll also gather for a snack break in the woodland shelter and wrap up with a fun song session.

Sessions run in all weather (except strong winds), so dress for outdoor adventure! Sign up to begin your child's adventure!

Dani "I honestly would struggle to encourage improvement - the course is amazing. It is so varied, caters to 1-4 age group, challenges children, encourages children, teachers are kind and inclusive.
