Description
This course is run by Carymoor Environmental Trust.
Please note: The day lasts five hours, and is split up into two sessions either side of a lunch break
The course is open to all but would be particularly beneficial for learners looking to improve their health and wellbeing. Learners will get to create two willow dragonflies and find out more about the amazing creatures that live in Long Pond.
The course will be run on Wednesday 4th June 2025.
There will be a maximum of five participants on this course, with one tutor guiding you through the day.
This is a great chance to get outdoors at Carymoor's unique nature reserve and learn new skills in a relaxed learning environment.
What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you're a beginner and want to learn about this subject, and you don't have relevant knowledge or experience.
Venue directions
Follow direction signs to Carymoor when approaching from Dimmer Lane. Pay attention to the traffic lights and only enter the site when the lights are green. There is a 10mph speed limit on site.
What will I need to bring?
Lunch will not be provided, please bring your own. Please bring a pen and some paper, your smartphone if you have one and your digital camera and any other equipment you would like to use. Please also wear clothing suitable for the weather/activity and bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
