Description

Menopause Gentle Yoga Class of asana, breathing & relaxation is a yoga practice designed to support and nourish the menopause journey. It is intended for those experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause.

Practising gentle yoga can help you balance hormonal changes, relieve hot flushes, support pelvic health, strengthen bones, reduce bone loss, relieve anxiety, fatigue and brain fog. It aims to help you settle into rest in an enjoyable and creative way. The sequesnce of asanas (poses) responds to monthly and seasonal cycles, enhancing cyclical awareness as part of the toolkit for the menopause journey.

This course will focus on learning the art of relaxation, rest, and recovery skills to support all stages of menopause.

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you have completed our Developer Level in this subject or a similar subject area, or have previous experience, and want to explore further and learn more extensively.

What will I need to bring?
Please bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving license. Please also bring a yoga mat, water bottle, cushion and blanket, a pen and some paper and your smart phone if you have one. Please wear clothing suitable for the activity.

Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
