Description
This course is run by Heads Up.
Perfect for beginners or those returning to art, this session is the starting point for the Introduction to Painting course. Taught in a relaxed but informative manner, this workshop allows you to explore painting using water-based acrylics and try your hand at some of the different approaches that will be covered in the 4 week starter course and 6 week developer course. Taking inspiration from seasonal flowers and plants you will create your own painting to take home!
All materials and equipment are provided.

This course is suitable if you have no experience in this subject and want to discover if it's for you.
Venue directions
There is parking on site. There is a bus from Wells to South Horrington no. 173 which stops at the end of Upper Breach. Heads Up is 3 minutes walk from here on the left hand side. You will see a yellow defibrillator on the outside of the wall.
What will I need to bring?
Please bring an apron and wear clothes you don't mind getting dusty or messy. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence and if applicable evidence of benefits or income under £25k per annum (if not already checked with Community Learning team).
