Do you want to experience the wellbeing benefits of being in nature whilst developing a new skill?

This workshop offers a great opportunity to sketch the wonderful scenery at the stunning Hestercombe Gardens. Sketching is the perfect way to experience and deepen your understanding of the natural world through your own unique, creative expression.

What this workshop explores:
- Building your confidence with art
- How to begin your own nature sketching practice
- Boosting your mental wellbeing

Please bring HB, B and one 2B pencils and a hard backed A4 sketch book or sheets of white cartridge paper, and a clipboard. If you would like to work with water soluble colour brush marker pens, or pencils on watercolour paper, please bring these instead.

Enrol now and prepare to capture the immense beauty of Hestercombe Gardens.

Unfortunately, due to uneven terrain, this workshop is not suitable for wheelchair users.



  

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you have no experience in this subject and want to discover if it's for you.

What will I need to bring?
Materials to bring with you - HB, B and one 2B pencils and a hard backed A4 sketch book or sheets of white cartridge paper and clipboard. Alternatively, you may wish to work with water soluble colour brush marker pens, or pencils on watercolour paper. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.

Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
