Want to get creative, meet others, and enjoy some time for yourself in a peaceful setting?
This follow-on enhancer workshop is ideal if you've joined previous art journalling sessions - or if you simply enjoy being creative in a relaxed, friendly space.
Held in the beautiful garden and garden room at Coleridge Cottage, Nether Stowey, this session gives you time to create, reflect, and connect with others. You can work on a previous piece, start something new inspired by the setting, or prepare work for display. Your tutor will contact you beforehand to help tailor the session to your goals.
Whether you're new to art journaling or already practise regularly, this workshop offers space to grow your creativity, confidence and sense of community.
What this course explores:
- Mixed media techniques for art journaling
- Creating at your own pace in a calm setting
- Gaining inspiration from nature and each other
- Building wellbeing through creativity and connection
Basic materials are provided - feel free to bring your own.
Please bring lunch. Drinks are available to buy at the venue.

Please note there is no disabled access to the teaching room because of the nature of the historic building.
What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you have completed our Developer Level in this subject or a similar subject area, or have previous experience, and want to explore further and learn more extensively.
What will I need to bring?
Please bring a pen and some paper. Lunch will not be provided, please bring your own. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
