Description
Please note: Each day lasts six hours, and is split up into two sessions either side of a lunch break
Thinking about working in an Early Years setting?
This course is perfect if you're considering a future in early years, whether you're a parent, volunteer or keen to support children's learning and development in a nursery or pre-school.
You'll explore how young children grow, learn and thrive, while also building your own confidence and skills along the way.
What you'll learn:
- How to listen and communicate with young children
- Understanding the growth and development of young children
- Respecting and valuing each child as an individual
- Fun and engaging craft activities to enjoy with children

Entry Requirements
You must currently live in Somerset/Dorset.
You must have been resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study.
You must be over the age of 19.
You must not be on an apprenticeship.
There is a £100 cancellation fee if you enrol and do not complete or withdraw from the course. This fee is to cover administration costs.
Assessment
There are no exams. Your tutor will support and assess you throughout the course, and your work will be verified afterwards.

Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
