Description

Do you want to know how to best support and understand your neurodiverse child?

Building on topics covered in our taster session, this workshop will teach you how to continue being constructive, productive, and positive when interacting with your child.

What this course explores:
- How to manage cognitive, emotional, and social needs
- Tailored support based on your child's individuality
- Effective communication strategies
- Raising your child's confidence and sense of security
- Being a model parent for your child
- The importance of routine and boundaires

In most cases, you will be able to take away a family-friendly Action Plan of suitable strategies for your child/teenager, developed with their bespoke further development needs in mind, to be put into practice at home.

The session will be run as a workshop where everyone's opinion and experiences are treated in the strictest of confidence, aired in a supportive and empathetic environment and one where interaction is encouraged but not enforced.
