Description
Come and find us at the cafe in Victoria Park from 10:30-13:30 and take part in our amazing creative activities. Workshops will be drop-in and suitable for children aged 3-8 years, so arrive when you like and stay for as long as you want to. We will be making forest faces using foliage and found natural objects. We will be decorating bunting and making magical wands and garlands you can take home with you and there will also be some story telling.
Spending time together, learning something new and enjoying fun activities with your children, can encourage connection, bonding, independence, confidence and curiosity. At Art in the Park, you'll have an amazing time learning and connecting with others. Children are the responsibility of parent / carer at all times.
You can also purchase some lovely affordable refreshments at the Community Cafe or bring a picnic to enjoy with the kids in the park area.
What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you have no experience in this subject and want to discover if it's for you.
What will I need to bring?
Please bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence. Please bring your smart phone and wear clothing suitable for the weather/activity. Lunch will not be provided, please bring a picnic to enjoy in the park area or buy refreshments at the cafe.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
