Would you like to feel more confident reading in English?
In this practical English reading course you'll practise reading different types of text such as school letters, official forms, news articles, and signs. You'll improve your vocabulary and gain confidence reading English in real-life situations with support from your tutor. Once you are feeling more confident, you'll also learn skills like skimming and scanning so you can quickly and effectively understand texts.
This friendly, supportive course includes group reading, practical activities and discussions to get you feeling more confident reading and talking about different texts.
If you already understand some English and would like to develop your reading skills for daily life, work, or study then this course is for you. Strong reading skills open doors, and once you've completed this course, you'll find it easier to manage daily tasks, prepare for further study and find job and volunteering opportunities in the UK.
What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you're a beginner and want to learn about this subject, and you don't have relevant knowledge or experience. There are no qualifications required for this course, just a willingness to learn. You will need to have internet access and be able to join on Zoom.
