Description

Please note this course runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Learners will work with the brief to produce individual pieces of work and with those create a collaborative installation. The course promotes collaboration, sharing experiences and experimentation with design.

The skills developed will be the reflection of the artist's journey throughout the course. We will be focusing on learning ways of making a piece of art using a variety of different mediums.

Learners will be working in collaboration and the course will promote critical thinking and creativity whilst at the same time planing the installation to create an impact to the viewer.

What this course explores: Modern Slavery
- Analyse and reflect about the statistics of modern slavery in UK 2024.
- Promoting creative process and collaboration.
- Explore fusion between the written word and a 3D Installation.
- Creating a palette exploring the meanings of colour, with a focus on message and emotions.
- Reflect on the message, collaboration and group performance.

This course is suitable if you're a beginner and want to learn about this subject, and you don't have relevant knowledge or experience.

What will I need to bring?

There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
