Want to better understand ADHD and how it affects those who have it?

This course offers a clear, supportive introduction to ADHD - its possible causes, common characteristics and the strengths and challenges people may experience. Whether you are learning for yourself, or to support someone else, you'll gain valuable insight in a respectful and confidential online space with plenty of time for discussion and reflection.

What this course explores:
- Key behaviours and characteristics of ADHD, including less recognised traits like emotional sensitivity
- How the ADHD brain works differently, and the role of neurochemicals in focus, hyperactivity and impulsivity
- Links between ADHD and mental health, including strategies for managing anxiety, depression, sleep issues and RSD
- Sensory sensitivity, stimming, and masking, and their impact on daily life
- Understanding stigma and misconceptions, and recognising individual strengths
