Description

Explore the benefits of outdoor learning in earlier years through Seasonal Crafts and the core developments in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. Expect messy play, walks, foraging, outdoor arts & crafts and more!

This course guides parents to help them understand how Outdoor Learning in Early Years develops Communication & Language, Personal, Social & Emotional & Physical Development. It relates theory and practice, exploring the positive benefits and outcomes that arise when children explore such activities as messy play, go on walks, plant, cook and take part in outdoor arts & crafts. Parents will have the opportunity to have a go, create and explore various fun activities, and will be given a handout, outlining the activities we have explored, and their benefits relating to child development and the EYFS Framework.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Craft materials provided free of charge. You will take all your creations home with you.
