Description
Alongside the creation of felted gifts and decorations for Christmas, this felting course is designed to help you build confidence in your abilities and belief in yourself through creativity.
Perfect for those that have been on a 'Building your Confidence through Felting' Taster or Starter course, or those who have previous experience in felting. Within each session you will learn a little more about wet felting and/or needle felting alongside techniques to help build your confidence as you create. Building on your felting skills and your confidence, developing independence week by week, you will embark on new projects and create Christmas decorations and gifts that you can be proud of.
Projects will include a wet felted 2D Christmas scene, a needle-felted penguin or polar bear, Christmas tree decorations, a figure from a nativity scene, and more. You may choose to specialise in either needle-felting or wet felting during this course, with growing independence in what you choose to make and how, with continued support from your tutor.
What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you have completed our Starter Level in this subject or a similar subject area, or have previous experience, and want to progress and explore this subject in more depth.
What will I need to bring?
Please wear clothing suitable for the activity and also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
