Description
This short course is an ideal progression for those who have previously attended the Drawing and Painting Developer courses or other developer-level art courses.
What the course explores:
- Enhanced progression in your drawing and painting practice, working with watercolour and dry media.
- With the guidance and support of your tutor, you will create a thematic project of your own choice based on still life, landscape, portraiture, figure drawing, or a combination of these areas - providing a solid foundation for future art practice.
- Exploration of portfolio presentation and further learning progression pathways.
Contemporary research shows that creating art brings many health and wellbeing benefits. Making art can help reduce stress, increase confidence, and encourage self-expression.
This course has been designed for those interested in exploring a creative, fun, and relaxing pastime. It is also well suited to learners who wish to progress to further or higher-level art education.
Some art materials will be provided but please bring your own pen or pencil to get started.

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you have completed our Developer Level in this subject or a similar subject area, or have previous experience, and want to explore further and learn more extensively.
What will I need to bring?
Please bring a pencil, art pad and eraser. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
