Description

Would you like to spend quality time with your school-aged child while building confidence in their learning? Do you want to learn how to engage in your child's learning journey and help their love of learning? If so, this course is for you!

During the course we will explore literacy and numeracy skills through the story 'The Jolly Christmas Postman' and take part in activities linked to the book. You and your child will learn through play, supported by our primary-education-trained tutor.

This course is suitable for anyone with a child aged 4-9 years, and no prior knowledge of education is required. You will be fully supported throughout the session.

We are fully inclusive of SEND families, so please let us know of any needs you or your child may have.

At the start of the session, there will be a free-flow activity for you to enjoy while everyone arrives. We will then meet, greet each other, and share the story. The rest of the session will include a mix of free-flow exploration activities and group games. Activities will include craft, creative play, games, stories, physical challenges and plenty of fun.

We look forward to meeting you and your children as you begin your learning journeys together.
