Description

This Developer course will help you to improve your writing for real-life situations in the UK. You will learn how to write longer and clearer texts, including everyday emails, school or work messages, short letters, simple descriptions, and basic formal communication.

This course is for adults who can already write simple sentences in English but want to develop their skills further. It is ideal if you need to write at work, communicate with schools, reply to official messages or prepare for further study.

With support from your tutor, you will learn how to structure short paragraphs, use detailed vocabulary, write clear emails and letters, complete forms with confidence, and use simple organisational features like opening and closing phrases. You will also practise choosing the right level of formality and learning useful connective words and common verbs for writing.

The course runs across 5 sessions in a supportive, interactive group environment. You'll complete writing tasks, work with models, receive tutor feedback and practise writing for different real-life purposes.

You should join this course if you would like to write more confidently and accurately in English for everyday life in the UK. It will help you to express yourself more clearly, communicate with organisations, and prepare for higher-level writing in the future.
