Description

If you would like to learn how to make tasty, healthy food on a budget, then this is the course for you.

We will look at different cooking techniques and how we can create delicious meals with the food available to us. You will learn how to make basic meals and how to use them to make a variety of meals from the same base.

We will also look at some nutrition theory and food safety as well as menu planning and budgeting. All of this will be simple and easy to follow, so don't worry if you feel your English or Maths skills aren't up to scratch!

At the end of the session, you will have food to take home or eat for your lunch!

This course is open to everyone whether you feel you are a novice cook or have some skill but would like to learn more.

If you have particular dietary requirements, please let our enrolment team know.

You will also be signposted to further help and support as part of this course.
