Description
Is your child starting school this year? Do they seem ready? Are you ready?
This is your opportunity to learn more about starting school and prepare for your child's next steps. Spend time with other parents and carers in a relaxed, non-judgmental space and find out more about how you can support your child to prepare for starting school physically, mentally and emotionally.
Topics covered will include;
- Dressing, eating and toileting
- Creative and outdoor play
- Communication
- Social skills and social behaviours
- Being separate from parents/carers
This session is for the parent/carer only. Tea and coffee will be provided.

This course is suitable if you have no experience in this subject and want to discover if it's for you.

Please wear appropriate, comfortable clothing. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.
