Description

Gain an industry-recognised, accredited customer service qualification. Customer Service is the service provided to customers before, during and after purchasing and using goods and services. Good customer service provides an experience that meets customer expectations. It produces satisfied customers.

This customer service qualification aims to:
- provide you with the underpinning knowledge that is required to work in a range of different environments within a customer service role
- develop essential knowledge of how to carry out customer service tasks, such as how to manage information and supporting events
- help you apply your knowledge in a variety of industries and job roles

This course is delivered remotely with your professional tutor who will also mark and assess your work.

To enrol on this course, you will be asked to book an interview session in one of our centres which should take around 60-90 minutes. If attending a session in person is not possible for you, please ring us on 0330 332 7997 to book a phone call.. Our friendly Customer Engagement team and a dedicated course tutor will be there to support you in completing all the necessary sign-up paperwork and assessments as required. We will also tell you more about the course, what to expect from your time with us and arrange a start date (subject to availability).  

Entry Requirements
There are no specific prior qualifications needed to access this qualification, although you may find it useful to have previously achieved a Level 1 qualification. You should ideally have the equivalent of Level 1 literacy skills, however, a formal qualification is not required as this will be assessed prior to starting the course. You will need access to the internet and a computer/laptop to attend online sessions and download/upload your work.

You must currently live in Somerset/Dorset.
You must have been resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study.
You must be over the age of 19.
You must not be on an apprenticeship.
There is a £100 cancellation fee if you enrol and do not complete or withdraw from the course. This fee is to cover administration costs.

Assessment
You will be assessed through assignments. For each unit of study you will need to submit an assignment to your tutor. Your work is marked and you are provided with detailed feedback on your work submission. You can submit your assignments as and when you have completed each unit of study. There are no exams.

Progression
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to: Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service, Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service, Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service or Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Customer Service.
