Description

Celebrate the wonders of winter with your children this Christmas holiday. Enjoy creating something special together using natural winter foliage and plastic-free craft materials and add an even greater sense of awe and wonder to this special time of year.

Together, you can make a winter crown, wand, wreath, or garland and add your unique creations to a collective art piece.

Learn how to make intricate paper snowflakes and create beautiful textured effects through different art techniques.

All your creations can be taken home. Art and craft materials supplied. Please bring any winter foliage, pinecones or other winter treasures you have from the park or your garden at home.

Suitable for children from 5-10 years old. (No more than 2 children per adult, children must be supervised by an adult at all times).  

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you have no experience in this subject and want to discover if it's for you.

What will I need to bring?
Prior to the workshop, go out in the garden or to the park with your child and fill a bag with any winter foliage, sticks, feathers, pinecones and any other winter treasures that you might want to use in the workshop (please avoid anything prickly, spiky or poisonous!) Bring your bag of treasures with you on the day and we'll make something special together. Please bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.

Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
