This workshop is designed for anyone looking to explore and build practical helping and counselling skills. Building upon topics covered in our starter session, you'll learn how to guide others through personal challenges, help them set realistic goals, and develop problem-solving skills. It's also a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share experiences, and learn from each other.

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This short course is suitable if you wish to explore and learn about the topic of counselling and skilled helping. You should have a genuine interest in learning more about becoming a skilled helper and enhancing skills and knowledge. You may be undertaking an accredited qualification in counselling, i.e. Level 2 online distance learning and may want to explore and meet like-minded people to have the opportunity to discuss helping skills and examples. It can help with CPD opportunities, enhancing knowledge, developing skills, learning from others as well as tutor, helping others to learn from you. To attend this workshop you require enthusiasm and a willingness to participate and learn to enhance your skills and knowledge. You will need to have internet access and be able to join on Zoom.

What will I need to bring?
Please bring a pen and some paper. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.

Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
