Description

This course is run by Mind in Somerset and is aimed at those who are experiencing grief and loss. The zoom link will be sent out by Mind in Somerset after enrolment.

The aims of this workshop are:
- Understand models that can help explain grief and the way we feel during loss
- Recognise unhealthy coping strategies and why to avoid them
- Find healthy coping strategies to support in the grief process
- Take away tools to help cope with grief and loss
- Be able to signpost to external services which may be able to support

Upon completion, learners will receive a certificate of attendance.
This course is delivered online via Zoom.

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you're a beginner and want to learn about this subject, and you don't have relevant knowledge or experience. There are no qualifications required for this course, just a willingness to learn. You will need to have internet access and be able to join on Zoom.

What will I need to bring?
Please bring a pen and some paper. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.

Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
