Description
Whether you have ADHD yourself (diagnosed or undiagnosed) or support someone who has it, this course will offer many ways in which to manage the more challenging aspects of the condition.
In each session you will learn several, easily applied methods for managing characteristics of ADHD, with a different focus each week:
- Managing Mental Health and Wellbeing - including different mindfulness and reframing techniques, adapted for the ADHD brain. In this session, you can also learn more about how to manage sleep issues associated with ADHD.
- Managing Executive Functioning Skills - in this session you will learn how to improve memory, organisation, and time management in fun and ADHD-friendly ways.
- A Long-Term View: Embracing the ADHD Brain - this session will be an opportunity to reframe ADHD, to make the most of the strengths associated with ADHD and to create long-term self-management goals,
creating your own step-by-step processes and timelines to help stay on track. These can be created for yourself or adapted for use with someone you're supporting or caring for who has ADHD.
Learn in a supportive, confidential and respectful online space with plenty of time for discussion and self-reflection.
