Description
Looking for a fun and creative way to boost your confidence? Why not dive into the world of felting and see how easy it can be to create beautiful, handmade pieces in just a few hours?
With 'easy to learn' techniques and quick results, felting can be a fantastic way to build confidence in your learning and skills. This course is perfect for beginners or if you have tried felting before.
In this taster session you will learn the basic techniques for wet felting and needle felting, make a bookmark and some simple 3D shapes, and learn an effective technique for building confidence in your abilities.
Beginning with two small projects to get you started, you will discover the basic principles of what felt is and how felting works. You will have the opportunity to learn an effective confidence building technique to try out while you are felting in both 2D and 3D. This hands-on, practical workshop will give you a great starting point for developing your creativity with felt, as well as building your self-confidence.
At the end of the course, you can take your finished projects home. All resources provided.

This course is suitable if you have no experience in this subject and want to discover if it's for you.
What will I need to bring?
Please bring an old towel to assist you with wet felting activities. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.

There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
