This course offers you a chance to build a personal wellness toolkit using simple techniques that nurture both mind and body.
Through breathing exercises, gentle yoga, and somatic movement, you'll discover how to release tension, reduce anxiety, and create space for deep relaxation. Whether you're recovering from stress, trauma, or even long COVID or M.E, this course will guide you towards feeling more at ease.
What this course explores:
- Mindful breathing exercises for relaxation
- Gentle yoga poses to support the nervous system
- Somatic movement for releasing tension
- Vagus Nerve exercises to calm mind and body
- The practice of Yoga Nidra for deep rest and recovery
- Keeping a yoga journal to track progress

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you have completed our Starter Level in this subject or a similar subject area, or have previous experience, and want to progress and explore this subject in more depth.
What will I need to bring?
Please bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving license. Please also bring a yoga mat, water bottle, cushion and blanket, a pen and some paper and your smart phone if you have one. Please wear clothing suitable for the activity.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
