This course is run by Heads Up.
Have you ever wanted to create something beautiful with your own hands?
This course is the perfect opportunity to explore the art of pottery. Building on topics taught in our taster session, this course will teach you stack and slam wedging techniques in addition to the basics.
Over four sessions, you'll create a simple clay project that to take home as a memento. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, this course will introduce you to the joy of working with clay.

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you're a beginner and want to learn about this subject, and you don't have relevant knowledge or experience.
Venue directions
There is parking on site. There is a bus from Wells to South Horrington no. 173 which stops at the end of Upper Breach, just a three-minute walk from Heads Up.
What will I need to bring?
Please bring an apron and wear clothes you don't mind getting dusty or messy. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence and if applicable evidence of benefits or income under £25k per annum.
Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
