Description

Do you want to feel confident feeding your baby?

Whether you plan to breastfeed, formula feed, or combine both, we'll cover all feeding methods, ensuring you feel informed and supported.

Led by a breastfeeding counsellor, this session includes interactive activities, guided discussions, and expert-led mini-lectures in a supportive environment. Leave with confidence, practical knowledge, and access to local resources to help you succeed. You will also make new friends in the community.

What this course explores:
- Normal newborn feeding behaviours
- Recognising hunger cues
- Understanding whether your baby is getting enough milk

What are the entry requirements for this course?
This course is suitable if you have no experience in this subject and want to discover if it's for you.

What will I need to bring?
You can come with or without your baby (bring along anything your baby needs). Please bring a pen and some paper plus your smartphone if you have one and wear clothing suitable for the activity. Please also bring photo ID with you e.g. passport or driving licence.

Will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. Your tutor will provide feedback to help you improve.
